SICTC is the hub for the development and delivery of advanced career and technical education, workforce development and training for the entire southwest Indiana region. High school students from North, South, and East Gibson, Spencer, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties can receive classroom and hands-on training in 24 diverse areas of study using the latest emerging technologies and equipment at the SICTC.

SICTC students can earn college credit in over 80 different college courses through dual credit agreements, as well as articulation agreements with many of the nation's most prestigious technical colleges. SICTC has awarded over 3,000 college credits every year for the past four years. Additionally, the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center is one of the few schools in the State of Indiana to be STEM certified through the Indiana Department of Education.
