Media Communications and Broadcasting

The Media Communications (M-COM) Program is perfect for students looking to pursue careers or further education in fields such as business, broadcasting (radio, TV, cable), journalism (news and sports), public relations, advertising/marketing, communications/media, video production, management, audio production, and engineering.
It’s also ideal for those simply wanting to improve their speaking, writing, and professional skills while gaining experience in a real-world business environment.
M-COM provides hands-on instruction to develop and enhance skills in communication, marketing, media production, and technical functions critical to success in the industry. Students will gain practical experience in on-air broadcasting through 90.7 WPSR, the EVSC radio station, while learning the ins and outs of media production and communication in today’s fast-paced digital world.
This program will give you the tools, experience, and confidence to thrive in any communication-related field, all while preparing you for the dynamic and ever-evolving world of media and business.
