The 2020 iEngineering Summer Experience has been cancelled and will be moving into a different direction. Starting the Fall of 2020, the team that brought the iEngineering Summer Experience is in the process of developing "Garage Tech" at the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center. Please check back on the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center web site (www.sictc.com) in August for more information and registration to this new and exciting event.

About the experience:

The iEngineering Summer Experience is a hands-on introduction to engineering, manufacturing, and architecture for students currently enrolled as 7th and 8th-grade students in the surrounding area middle schools.  The program runs half days for two weeks in the summer and is located at the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center. Over the two week period, students are able to learn and develop skills related to electrical theory, robotics, CNC machining, welding, computer programming, team building, radio broadcasting, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.  Students also take a field trip to local manufacturing facilities.
