The Building Construction Technology program is a comprehensive, three-credit-hour course that blends classroom learning, hands-on lab work, and real-world jobsite experience. Students will gain valuable skills in architectural design, as well as the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential homes and commercial buildings.
Through a variety of practical activities like estimating, measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing finish materials, students will develop a strong foundation in construction techniques. The program also emphasizes essential skills in math, reading, writing, and communication, ensuring students are equipped to succeed in both the technical and professional aspects of the construction industry.
