Our two-year Healthcare Foundations Program provides students with a solid foundation in Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and professional exploration across various healthcare careers, including medicine, nursing, dentistry, and physical and occupational therapy.
Students will gain essential skills in basic patient care applicable across all healthcare settings, while developing professionalism, communication, and employability skills. The program includes hands-on learning in diverse disciplines such as forensics, imaging, dental, and cardiac care, through interactive labs and practical exercises.
Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to earn certifications in American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant from the National Health Association, HIPAA, and OSHA 10-hour training. The curriculum also includes a ten-week clinical observation in two different career areas, allowing students to apply their skills in real-world settings and gain valuable industry experience.
This program prepares students for a successful career in healthcare by combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills and certification opportunities, ensuring they are well-equipped for both further education and entry into the workforce.
