COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Building Construction Technology is a three credit hour class that includes classroom, lab and jobsite experience in architectural design, installation, maintenance and repair of residential homes and commercial buildings. Instruction will cover a variety of activities such as estimating, measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing finish materials. Math, reading, writing, and speaking skills will be emphasized so students can learn to communicate effectively.
