COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Maintenance is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and the principles and practices associated with the design, operation, and maintenance of those processes. Areas of study include; safety, measurement, layout, machining, manufacturing processes, electrical circuits, programmable logic controllers, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, automation and robotics. This course will utilize a combination of classroom, lab, and self-directed learning activities to provide students with a basic understanding and application of the subject matter.
