COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Electrical Technology includes classroom and laboratory experiences that incorporate training in the areas of residential wiring, commercial/industrial wiring, and electric motors/controls. Instructional practices for construction are based on the National Electric Code. Subject matter includes experiences that incorporate theory and laboratory work as it relates to the following: planning functions, generating and transmitting electricity, installing and maintaining electrical systems(equipment and components). Safety practices are covered on a daily basis.
